Crystal Waters is the worlds first Permaculture Village established over 30 years ago. Its located about an hour and a half from Brisbane, and twenty minutes from Maleny. There is about 85 houses scattered across the 300 + acres with approximately 200 residents.
Recently Sue and I took some time out and stayed in a small cottage at Crystal Waters.
It rained for three days straight and created a terrific misty atmosphere with rain clouds hanging on the distant mountains.
This painting is a view from one of the morning walks we took.
