Day 7 of the 31 day challenge for January.

Noosa Main Beach … a favourite holiday destination. Its a place I love and lucky enough to call home. At this time of year though I sometimes wish I was a pelican soaring high above the crowds looking down. Is this the view I would see.

This is a more abstract view of Noosa. I like the composition of the aerial view and plan to paint more in this style of the coast line.

This is a quick 15 minute study to explore ideas. I will definitely head back to this location again for some larger works.

My goal is to try out new ideas and different compositions. Experiment, play and have fun. By painting daily of course it will improve my skills as well.

I will sell most of these sketches on Ebay for no reserve auctions. Some will be used as ideas for larger works, and some may become episodes of Learn To Paint TV.
