The Woodford Folk Festival has been running for close to three decades and attracts 100,000 + folks each year.
The festival is held at a large land holding known as Woodfordia just outside the small village of Woodford which is about an hour or so back to Brisbane.
This year the event was split into smaller events due to Covid. I was honoured to be asked to conduct a number of painting workshops at the event.
Right near the entrance to Woodfordia is a beautiful farm on a sweeping bend in the road. Each time I went past I thought to myself I must stop and paint this scene.
And here it is ... Woodford Mood.
I started painting in on location and got chatting to the old farmer for a bit before it got too hot to be outside. So this was finished off in the studio.
